meet DR. ALEXA TORONTOW, ND

Dr. Alexa Torontow, ND, is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a clinical focus in women’s hormonal health and perinatal care (fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum). She supports women through physiological and hormonal transitions at every life stage using an evidence-based, patient-centred approach.

Dr. Torontow earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed her clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, where she trained in fertility and reproductive health. She also holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia, providing a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and movement science.

Her interest in naturopathic medicine was shaped by personal health experiences and a desire to provide more integrated, comprehensive care. In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Torontow is a trained birth doula, which informs her work with patients during pregnancy, birth preparation, and the postpartum period.

As both a clinician and a mother of two daughters, Dr. Torontow offers thoughtful, evidence-informed care that supports women’s health decisions with clarity, compassion, and confidence at every stage of life.

Dr. Torontow is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA) and the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Doctors (AAND).
